HARMATTAN SEMESTER 2009/2010 REGISTRATION

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

 

1)         ENSURE YOU REGISTER WITHIN THE SPECIFIED REGISTRATION PERIOD IN THE UNIVERSITY CALENDAR AS THUS:

 

Ř     Start of Registration – March 19, 2010

Ř     End of Normal Registration – May 1, 2010

Ø    Start of Late Registration  –– May 2, 2010

Ø     End of Late Registration –– May 8, 2010

Ø     Start of Printing of COURSE FORM – May 9, 2010. Please Note that any Course Form NOT signed by PART ADVISER and submitted to Department within stipulated time is not Valid

 

2)         E-PORTAL WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION AFTER THE CLOSURE OF LATE REGISTRATION

 

3)         NO REQUEST (VERBAL / LETTER / MEMO) WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER CLOSURE OF LATE REGISTRATION

 

4)         REPORT REGISTRATION PROBLEMS TO COMPUTER CENTRE ENQUIRY OFFICE, Room M15, Computer Buildings Complex FOR ASSISTANCE

 

5)         YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT THE FOLLOWING 2 REPORTS TO ANY OF THE AUTHORITIES (Part Adviser,HOD, Dean, Computer Centre) ...as proof of your Registration in case of any complaints after the closure of Registration. The reports are:- “EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION” and "REGISTRATION LOGS"

 

6)         IF THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR COURSE FORM IS NOT SUCCESSFUL, YOU ARE ADVISED TO USE ANOTHER BROWSER i.e. Internet Explorer

7)         You are required to fill the following FORMS:- CERTIFICATE Form (Freshers only), BIO-DATA Form, COURSE Form. Please note that COURSE FORM will only be available subject to completion of your BIO-DATA Form and Payment of appropriate fees.

         ALLOCATION OF BED SPACES:

 

8)         FACILITY for Fresh Students to request and secure BED SPACES online. This service is now available from today, Friday 26th March, 2010 at 6.15pm. The BED SPACES for Final Year students who had previously applied online will be allocated next week. The EPORTAL System will only accept Accomodation Scratch Cards from students who have secured BED SPACES. On successful payment of the School and Accomodation fees, print 3 copies of your letter of Accomodation in order to occupy your Bed Space as from Sunday, 28th March, 2010. You are required to print your Accomodation letter before resumption on Sunday, 28th March, 2010.
